Welfare Minister on Saturday arranged an ambulance and shifted her to Karimnagar government hospital isolation center.
Peddapalli: Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar came to the rescue of an elderly woman suffering from Covid-19 and got her shifted to an isolation center in Karimnagar. A lonely woman, Gunda Gangamma (70) was affected with Coronavirus ten days ago and was facing severe hardships as there were none to help her.
She was staying in a tiny house in Dongathurthi of Dharmaram mandal as her four daughters were married and living separately. Her husband Laxman Goud died two years ago with ill-health. As the elderly lady was facing troubles, local youth uploaded the photos of the woman on Facebook.
Moved by the plight of lonely woman, the Welfare Minister on Saturday arranged an ambulance and shifted her to Karimnagar government hospital isolation center. The minister also spoke to the hospital officials and instructed them to provide better treatment to her.
