Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday laid a foundation stone for developmental works in Jawaharnagar Municipal Corporation, and said pattas would be issued for the poor families living here.
“We will request the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and regularise the plots to benefit the poor through GOMs 58 and GOMs 59. I am taking the responsibility of regularising the plots,” he said adding, “Me and Minister Malla Reddy will come here again and give the pattas to the poor soon.”

Pointing out that the dump yard in Jawahar Nagar was established by the earlier State government, Rama Rao said, “this government has set up a Waste to Energy Plant and is addressing the issues faced by people in Jawahar Nagar.”
The foundation stone laying ceremony was attended by Labour Minister CH Malla Reddy, Jawaharnagar Municipal Corporation Mayor Mekala Kavya and others.
