KTR blames Congress for dip in Telangana’s GSDP, Per Capita Income

He remarked that the people of Telangana were now experiencing the consequences of placing their trust in tourist parties and visionless leaders. “The Congress has appointed an unfit leader to a key position, dismantled a State that was built through decades of struggle, and is now toying with the lives of four crore citizens,” he said.

Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao blamed the Congress leadership for the reported dip in Telangana’s Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and Per Capita Income (PCI) during last fiscal of 2024-25. He stated that trusting the Delhi parties would only ruin Telangana and it has been proved once again.

He stated that the people of Telangana were now witnessing the fallout of trusting tourist parties and leaders without vision. “The Congress appointed a mindless leader in crucial post, ruined a State built with decades of struggle, and are now playing with the lives of four crore people,” he said.

Calling it an unforgivable sin to drag a top-performing State to the bottom of the economic ladder, Rama Rao warned that the consequences of placing Telangana in the hands of the Congress would be disastrous. “People are experiencing the difference between a decade of visionary governance and today’s short-sighted policies,” he added. He asserted that the people of Telangana had learned their lesson and would not trust national parties that, have neither commitment nor understanding of the State’s needs.
