Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao on Sunday credited the successful commissioning of two key infrastructure projects, Sitarama Lift Irrigation and Yadadri Ultra Mega Thermal Power Plant, to the long-term vision of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao.
Taking to X, Rama Rao stated that vision was not just laying foundations, development was not about inaugurations or the pomp, while progress is not political grandstanding. Further, he said a true leader does not just think about one generation or one election. “A well-thought-out and meticulously implemented plan will form the crux of their agenda,” he said, adding that Telangana achieved two wonderful results of Chandrashekhar Rao’s vision.
Celebrating the operational launch of the Sitarama Lift Irrigation Project, Rama Rao called it a historic moment for Khammam district. “With the motors now turned on, this project will irrigate every acre of farmland in Khammam. The project is living testament of Chandrashekhar Rao‘s efforts,” he said.
He also praised the Yadadri Thermal Power Plant at Damarcherla, where Unit One has completed 72 hours of Commercial Operation Declaration (COD). Calling it another miracle possible through the vision of Chandrashekhar Rao, he took pride in the former Chief Minister’s leadership.
