Hyderabad: On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, BRS working president KT Rama Rao paid tributes to Kaloji Narayan Rao, in honour of the legacy of Telangana’s revered poet and activist. Taking to social media, Rao expressed deep reverence for teachers and guiding figures who illuminate paths of knowledge, wisdom, and inner awakening, acknowledging Kaloji for his contributions to the Telangana movement.
“On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, I bow in reverence to the guiding lights who illuminate the path of knowledge, wisdom, and inner awakening. One such great teacher was Kaloji Narayan Rao Garu who was relentless in his efforts for Telangana,” Rao tweeted.
As a tribute to the iconic poet, Rao highlighted two significant initiatives by the Telangana government to immortalize Kaloji’s legacy. The “Kaloji Kalakshetram” in Warangal, a cultural hub dedicated to preserving and promoting art and literature, stands as a testament to his contributions.
Additionally, the State’s Health University has been named after Kaloji Narayan Rao, further cementing his enduring influence.
