Kyathanpalli municipal poll chaos: Former councillor arrested in Chennur
Former councillor Domakonda Anil was arrested in Mancherial in connection with a rioting and unlawful assembly case involving BRS district president Balka Suman and six other leaders. Anil was detained from his residence and interrogated at Chennur police station before being produced in court.

Mancherial: Former councillor Domakonda Anil was arrested in connection with an unlawful assembly and rioting case, in which BRS district president Balka Suman and six leaders were booked at Kyathanpalli in Chennur on Wednesday.
Anil was detained from his residence in the early hours of Wednesday and shifted to the Chennur police station. He was reportedly interrogated there before being produced before a court at the Mancherial district headquarters. Police are said to have launched a search to nab the other accused persons, including Suman.
On Tuesday night, Balka Suman and six other leaders were booked for alleged unlawful assembly, rioting, causing grievous hurt, and disobedience of an order when Labour Minister Dr G Vivek and Peddapalli MP GVamshikrishna were on their way to attend a special meeting to elect the chairperson of Kyathanpalli municipality.
