Laksha Pushparchana performed at Yadadri temple
Yadadri-Bhongir: Laksha pushparchna (pooja with one lakh flowers) was performed to presiding deity of Yadadri, Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy at Balalayam on the auspicious occassion of Ekadashi on Monday. Yadadri-Bhongir: Laksha pushparchna (pooja with one lakh flowers) was performed to presiding deity of Yadadri, Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy at Balalayam on the auspicious occassion of Ekadashi on Monday. The temple priests performed the Laksha Pushparchana for nearly two hours amid chants of Vedic hymns.
A variety of flowers were used in the special ritual. They also performed Sahasra Namarchana and Sudarshana Narasimha Homam at Balalayam. Arjun awardee and general secretary of Telangana Hockey Association N Mukesh Kumar also participated in special pooja at Balalayam on the occassion.
