Lathangi sisters mesmerise audience at Sampradaya Sankeerthotsav in Malkajigiri
The third day of Sampradaya Sankeerthotsav 2026 at Sri Vijaya Vinaya Swamy Temple, Malkajgiri, featured a captivating concert by the Lathangi Sisters, Archana and Samanvi. Their performance included classics by Tyagaraja, Muthuswamy Deekshitar, and Oothukadu Venkata Kavi, culminating in Tulasi Bilva in Kedaragowla and an energetic RTP in Valaji.

Hyderabad: Sampradaya Sankeerthotsav 2026, a 16-day-long classical music festival organised in association with Hope Advertising Pvt. Ltd., is going on at Sri Vijaya Vinaya Swamy Temple, Vani Nagar, Malkajigiri.
On the third day of the festival, the young and talented Lathangi Sisters–Archana and Samanvi captivated the audience with their melodious and mature presentation. The concert commenced with Saranga varnam setting a traditional tone for the evening followed by Tyagraja’s evergreen classic Teliyaleru Raama in Dhenuka and another popular composition Evarikai Avataaramettitivo in devamanohari.
Seshachala Nayakam of Muthuswamy Deekshitar was an intense bhava-filled rendition, and a rare composition of Oothukadu Venkata Kavi in raga Kannada Maruvam paved way for the main piece of the day, Tulasi Bilva in Kedaragowla.
Mahavadi Vasu on violin shone bright all through and percussion support from Aravind Kundurti on Mridangam and Rohith Prasad on Ghatam enhanced the concert experience multifold. A short, swift and vibrant RTP in Valaji lit up the evening as the concert concluded with an electrifying namavali Radhe Radhe.
JS Sriram speaking on behalf of Sampradaya and JS Eswara Prasad, managing trustee of Sampradaya appreciated Archana & Samanvi and Balatripura Sundari and KS Rao, Director of Hope Advertising, felicitated the young artists.
