Adilabad: Advocates working with various courts across erstwhile Adilabad district boycotted work on Thursday demanding stern action against the culprits in the brutal killing of lawyer couple Gattu Vaman Rao and his wife Nagamani in Peddapalli district on Wednesday.
The agitating pleaders took to roads in Adilabad, Mancherial, Nirmal and Kumram Bheem Asifabad district headquarters and raised slogans, condemning the murder of the lawyer couple belonging to Gunjapadugu village in Manthani mandal. They demanded that the government take stringent action against those who were involved in the heinous killing.
Similar protests were witnessed in Boath, Utnoor, Bhainsa, Luxettipet, Chennur, Bellampalli, Sirpur (T) towns.
