The court has issued a second show-cause notice in three days to a Jubilee Hills police officer for alleged unethical conduct in the Mahaa News case involving BRSV leader Kolli Sai Nageswara Rao. BRS Legal Cell threatens escalation
Hyderabad: The 14th Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) Court at Nampally on Friday issued a show-cause notice to the Investigating Officer of the Jubilee Hills police station for unethical conduct in the Mahaa News case involving BRSV leader Kolli Sai Nageswara Rao.
The court pulled up the officer for causing unnecessary harassment at the police station and demanded an explanation.
This is the second show-cause notice issued to the same officer in three days, on procedural violations. On July 1, the 17th ACJM court at Nampally issued a show-cause notice to the Jubilee Hills police and Task Force police for keeping two BRSV leaders in detention of the Task Force police for more than 24 hours.
The BRS Legal Cell has warned that if no action is taken against the officer concerned, they will escalate the matter to the High Court and the State Human Rights Commission.
