Mahesh Babu’s son Gautam emerges as a competitive swimmer

Making his debut as a child artiste in his father's blockbuster movie '1-Nenokkadine', Gautam took his time to take a plunge into competitive swimming.

Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu’s son, Gautam Ghattamaneni, has emerged as among the top eight competitive swimmers in Telangana State. This was announced by Gautam’s mother Namrata Shirodkar on her Instagram handle. The former actor shared the video of his son performing freestyle stroke in a pool.

Namrata wrote saying, “Swimming professionally since 2018, Gautam has comfortably achieved his position amongst the top 8 competitive swimmers In Telangana State Swimming for his age group. He has adapted to the sport organically, thoroughly enjoying the hard work, channeling the mentioned technique into speed and precision. He performs all four —  butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke & freestyle with ease and grace. His favorite being endurance freestyle where he swam a continuous 5kms within 3hours.” 

Making his debut as a child artiste in his father’s blockbuster movie ‘1-Nenokkadine’, Gautam took his time to take a plunge into competitive swimming. The young man has been into professional swimming ever since 2018.
