Malkajgiri Cybercrime officials nab 11 persons in a week
The Malkajgiri Cybercrime Police in Hyderabad solved seven cyber fraud cases and arrested 11 persons in the first week of February. Many of those arrested were mule account holders and facilitators.

Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Cybercrime Police solved seven cases and arrested 11 persons during the first week of February as part of a focused crackdown on online frauds.
The cases revealed a pan-India network of offenders involved in investment scams, digital arrest fraud, online betting and part-time job frauds.
Police said four cases pertained to investment fraud, while one case each involved digital arrest fraud, online gaming/betting fraud and part-time job fraud. Several arrested persons were identified as mule account holders and account procurers who facilitated the transfer of cheated money.
In a major relief to victims, the Cybercrime Police processed court-approved refunds amounting to Rs 43.21 lakh during the week. Victims of cyber fraud can contact the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 or report through the NCRP portal.
