Hyderabad: Malla Reddy University on Friday announced the admission-cum-scholarship test (MRUCET-2022) which will be conducted on March 12 and 13. The university is offering scholarships worth Rs 5 crore to meritorious students.

The entrance exam is open to students of all State Boards, Central Board and other recognized institutions across India and international students.

Addressing a press conference here, Indian Blockchain Standards Committee chairman, JA Chowdary said quality was more important than quantity. “Take lesser number of students but provide the best education, as India is known for giving the best engineers to the world. Malla Reddy University is one of the finest private Universities. I appreciate the University for offering up to Rs. 5 crore worth scholarships to encourage students,” he said.

Malla Reddy Group of Institutions president, Dr. Badhra Reddy said the University was encouraging students for business ideas and creating funds for start-ups.

Malla Reddy University Vice Chancellor, Dr. VSK Reddy said “This academic year, we have introduced several scholarships initiatives to support merit and economically weaker sections.”
