Man arrested for harassing people for money in Hyderabad

The accused A Suresh, (32), a resident of Jubilee Hills Road No 22, and a native of Vijayawada in AP, was involved in 12 cases in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills police on Thursday arrested a man on charges of cheating and harassing people. A Suresh, (32), a resident of Jubilee Hills Road No 22, and a native of Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh, was involved in 12 cases in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, police said.

According to the police, Suresh would make friends with people and after developing intimacy, would demand money. If they refuse to give him money, he would threaten and harass them. Unable to take his harassment, one family approached the police.

When a police team went to his house to arrest him, Suresh locked himself and posted videos on social media alleging he was being attacked by the police.

However, after several hours, the police managed to enter the house and arrested him.
