Hyderabad: The Dabeerpura police arrested social activist, Syed Saleem of the old city, on charges of morphing photographs of AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi and making derogatory comments against a particular group.
A complaint was made at the Dabeerpura police station by a person who stated that Saleem, who is also a Youtuber, morphed a photograph of the legislator and posted derogatory comments targeting a particular community.
On basis of the complaint, the police had booked a case under Section 153A and 469 of Indian Penal Code. On Wednesday, he was arrested and produced before court.
