Man arrested for practising medicine without qualification in Telangana’s Adilabad
Suryamshi Dileep was apprehended for prescribing drugs to a five-month pregnant woman from Gudihathnoor mandal centre by flouting norms of The Telangana State Medical Practitioners Registration Act and National Medical Council Act
Adilabad: A rural medical practitioner was arrested for causing illness to a woman by practising medicine without required qualifications in Gudihathnoor mandal centre on Saturday.
Police said Suryamshi Dileep from Gudihathnoor mandal headquarters was apprehended for prescribing drugs to a five-month pregnant woman from Gudihathnoor mandal centre by flouting norms of The Telangana State Medical Practitioners Registration Act and National Medical Council Act.
Earlier, a case was registered against Dileep based on a complaint received from officials of the medical and health department. Police warned that stringent action would be taken against those who commit illegal activities. A watch was kept on the wrongdoers, the police cautioned.
