Man beaten to death at Uppuguda Railway Station
A man was allegedly beaten to death with granite stones and a brick at Uppuguda Railway Station in Hyderabad after an argument. Police detained the suspect, who was allegedly in an inebriated condition, while efforts are underway to establish the identities of both men

Hyderabad: A man was allegedly beaten to death with granite stones at Uppuguda Railway Station on Sunday afternoon.
The incident occurred at around 1.30 pm on the Uppuguda-Yakutpura side of the railway station.
According to the police, an argument broke out between two individuals who were allegedly under the influence of ganja. Soon, the suspect repeatedly attacked the victim with granite stones and a brick, leading to fatal injuries. The victim sustained severe injuries and died on the spot.
The victim, aged around 30-35 years, could not be identified immediately. The suspect, aged around 40-45 years, was found in an inebriated condition and detained by the police.
Efforts are underway to establish the identities of both the victim and the suspect.
The victim’s body was shifted to the mortuary for further legal procedures. Police have registered a case.
