Man beaten to death in Veldurthi village in Medak
A 37-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by unidentified assailants at Bandameedhi Pally in Veldurthi mandal. Police have registered a case and suspect an extramarital affair as the motive. The incident triggered tension in the village.
Medak: Unidentified miscreants allegedly killed a man at Bandameedhi Pally in Veldurthi mandal late on Wednesday night, when the village was in deep sleep. The victim was identified as Balesh, 37, a resident of the same village.
According to the police, the assailants beat him to death. His family members found him lying in a pool of blood and alerted the police. A case was registered, and the police suspect that an extra-marital affair could have been the motive behind the murder.
The incident created tension in the village. Police said an investigation was under way. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Ramayampet for postmortem examination.
