Man booked for beating a youth to death in Khammam
Khammam’s Two-Town police have booked Shaik Baji of Lenin Nagar for allegedly killing Shaik Rahman (25) of Balaji Nagar in a violent assault stemming from a past rivalry. The incident, which occurred at 4 am near Sun Diagnostic Centre, was captured on CCTV.

Khammam: The Two-town police in Khammam booked a man for allegedly beating an individual to death on December 29.
The two-town Inspector Balakrishna informed that the accused Shaik Baji of Lenin Nagar in the city violently attacked the deceased, Shaik Rahman (25) of Balaji Nagar with his hands and feet due to past rivalry.
The incident which took place at around 4 am on Monday near the Sun Diagnostic Centre in Balaji Nagar was recorded on CCTV cameras. Rahman, who was admitted to Government General Hospital, succumbed to injuries five hours later that day.
The deceased man’s sister, Shaik Sadiqa, lodged a complaint at the police station on Wednesday. Based on her complaint, a case was registered and an investigation is underway, the Inspector said.
