Man injured after row over auto fare in Shamshabad
In Shamshabad, Hyderabad, a goldsmith, Samir Das, was injured by pellets from an unknown assailant firing an air gun after a dispute over auto fare late Wednesday night. Police have registered a case and formed special teams to identify the suspects.

Hyderabad: A man suffered pellet injuries when a unknown persons fired upon him with an air gun following a row over auto fare on Wednesday night.
According to the police, a goldsmith Samir Das is constructing a house at Narkudha village in Shamshabad in city outskirts. On Tuesday, his friend Pintu Hati, a resident of Ghansi Bazaar along with his acquaintance came to meet him .
Around 1 am, in the night Samir, Pintu and his friend were waiting for an auto rickshaw to reach the city. They waved down an auto on the Narkhuda village road. “The auto driver demanded Rs. 800 charges while Pintu tried to bargain the fare to Rs. 500, to which the driver did not agree and they ended up arguing. In the meantime, some persons, who were seated in the auto rickshaw took out an air gun and fired on Samir Das and fled away,” sad the Shamshabad police.
A case is registered and special teams formed to identify and nab the suspects.
