Man killed, wife injured as car turns turtle in Suryapet
According to Munagala police, over-speeding was the cause of the mishap
Suryapet: In a tragic incident, a man died on the spot while his wife suffered injuries when their car turned turtle near Gunpula Madharam of Munagala mandal in the district on NH 65 on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Anantha Shiva Prasad (49), a native of Sambarladharuvu village of Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh. His wife Sathyavathi was injured in the accident that took place around 2 PM when the couple was on their way to Hyderabad from Vijayawada.
According to Munagala police, over-speeding was the cause of the mishap. The injured woman was shifted to government hospital at Kodad for treatment and her condition was stable.
