Lakavath Rajakumari (40) died after receiving severe head injuries in a bath room
Mancherial: A woman was murdered, allegedly by her husband who suspected her fidelity on Godavari Road in Luxettipet town on Saturday night.
Luxettipet Sub-Inspector P Satish said that Lakavath Rajakumari (40) died after receiving severe head injuries in a bath room. She was found dead in a pool of blood after being bludgeoned to death by her husband Ganesh.
Ganesh, who was in an inebriated condition, picked up an argument and hit on her head with a cement brick. He was allegedly abusing and thrashing her every day for the last few months, suspecting her fidelity.
Rajakumari had three children. Based on a complaint received from her mother Renukabai, a murder case was registered against Ganesh. Investigations were on.
