Mancherial: A coal miner’s daughter achieved the second rank in Telangana by scoring 995 marks out of 1,000 in the BiPC course of intermediate second year, the results of which were declared on Sunday. She became a role model to others by excelling in the results.
Renka Vaishnavi, the younger daughter of Chandramouli, a coal miner at RK-5 underground mine in Srirampur, stood in second place in the State by securing 995 marks, while the first ranker secured 996 marks. She was the topper in the annual examinations of the intermediate second year in erstwhile Adilabad district. Her achievement brought recognition to her parents and the district as well.
Vaishnavi said that she would like to become a doctor by pursuing medicine and excelling in NEET. She studied at Carmel Convent High School in Mancherial and secured 10 GPA in Class X. She pursued intermediate at Alphores Junior College and shone in the intermediate. She was congratulated by colleagues of the miner and friends in Srirampur.
