Mancherial: The district has registered 336 positive cases of Covid-19, the highest single-day spike during the ongoing second wave including a fatality, on Wednesday.
According to a bulletin released by district surveillance officer Dr K Balaji, the district recorded 336 positive cases when swab samples of 1,762 suspected persons of coronavirus was examined at several primary health centres and state-run hospitals across the district. With this, the total tally of cases in the district reached 2,482.
The district reported a corona death on Wednesday as 75-year-old female patient of the disease died while undergoing home quarantine. On Tuesday, the district recorded 218 positive cases when swab samples of 1,264 persons were investigated. It had seen 298 positive cases of the disease on Monday. A total of 2,433 persons were vaccinated in the district so far, according to the offiicials.
