Mancherial: As many as 17 students from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Centre of Excellence-Bellampalli have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2021. Inala Saidulu, principal of the institution, said 17 of the total 33 students who appeared for JEE Mains-2021 conducted in March performed well in the entrance, registering between 48 and 92 percentile. This reflected the quality of teaching and aptitude of the students studying at the centre, he remarked.
Durgam Ranjith achieved 92.06 percentile in the national level and took the top position at the institute. Rayanchu Pavan, Doli Mallikharjun secured 78 and 74 percentile respectively, while Thati Sai Varshith secured 73.56 percentile and Elagathi Ajay Kumar scored 72.17 percentile. Basa Abhisekh, N Sai Teja, K Rajaramesh, M Shyamprasad, L Jayasimha D Srinivas and D Prasanth registered over 60 percentile.
Teachers of the institution and parents expressed happiness over the achievement of the students. They congratulated the pupils for excelling in the national level entrance test being conducted for admissions into Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs) and National Institute of Technologies (NITs) across the country. A total of 14 students qualified in JEE Mains-2020 with Chunarkar Praveen securing 91 percentile.
