Hyderabad: The Telugu film industry has embraced the trend of re-releases, transforming theatres into lively celebration zones. Since this trend began, fans have been recreating iconic scenes, dancing to popular hook steps, and singing chart busters in unison, making screenings feel more like concerts.
All of this turns every screening into a grand event.
With March lacking big-budget films, filmmakers are seizing the opportunity by re-releasing a film every week.
Here’s a look at what’s returning to the big screen this month:
Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (Already in Theatres)
This feel-good family entertainer, directed by Srikanth Addala, has already created a sensation. Fans are grooving to the songs and reliving memorable moments in theatres. Starring Mahesh Babu, Samantha, Venkatesh, and Anjali, the film continues to draw crowds.
Yuganiki Okkadu (March 14)
A cult classic, this Karthi-starrer is making its way back to theatres. The film’s dialogue, “Rey Yevaruraa Meerantha?”, has become a widely used meme and everyday phrase. Known for its hilarious comedy and Karthi’s stellar performance, the film promises an entertaining theatrical experience once again.
Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire (March 21)

Prabhas fans are in for a treat as this blockbuster returns to the big screen. Despite being a recent release, Salaar has already attained cult status. The craze is evident, with tickets already sold out in major theatres and selling fast in others, making this re-release one of the most anticipated events of the month.
Dhee (March 28)
Wrapping up the month is Dhee, the biggest hit in Manchu Vishnu’s career. Directed by Srinu Vaitla, this 2007 action-comedy remains a fan favorite. The film is remembered for its unforgettable characters—Vishnu Manchu as Babloo, Srihari as Shankar Goud alias Shakaranna, Brahmanandam as Chary, and Sunil as Katthi. The re-release promises to be a nostalgic treat for audiences.
