Masab Tank police arrested five persons for allegedly abetting the suicide of 24-year-old Mir Sofiyan Ali alias Adil. Police said Sofiyan was pressured and humiliated over a damaged motorcycle before he jumped from an apartment terrace at First Lancer
Hyderabad: The Masab Tank police arrested five persons for allegedly abetting the suicide of 24-year-old Mir Sofiyan Ali alias Adil earlier this week.
The arrested persons are Mohd Hanzala Pasha alias Sofiyan, Mohd Isaq Uddin, Musthafa Khan alias Furquan, Mohd Nawaaz and MD Imran Khan.
Police said Sofiyan was allegedly pressured and humiliated over a damaged motorcycle. Despite reportedly warning that he would end his life, the suspects allegedly continued to pressure him.
Sofiyan later jumped from the seventh-floor terrace of an apartment at First Lancer and died during treatment.
