Hyderabad: The trailer of Mayasabha, a new Telugu web series directed by Deva Katta, has been released. The show talks about how politics can break even the closest friendships.
The story is set in Andhra Pradesh. It begins with two friends who dream of doing good for their people. As time passes, power and politics come between them. They grow apart and become strong rivals.
The trailer shows fights, emotions, love and betrayal. It hints at how ambition and greed change people and test their relationships.
Director Deva Katta said the story is inspired by the political life of the state. He said the show is emotional and will show how power can change a person’s life.
Mayasabha will stream on Sony LIV from August 7, 2025, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam.
The series stars Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao in the lead roles. Divya Dutta, Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, Nassar, Ravindra Vijay, Shatru and Tanya Ravichandran play important roles.
