Medak: Burglars strike at constable’s residence, decamp with valuables

Medak: Unidentified persons broke into a constable’s house and stole valuables last night at Pedda Shankarampet.
The constable, Danthela Seeman, was working as a constable at Alladurgam police station. He was staying in Pedda Shankarampet. His family had gone to a relative’s place on Monday. Seeman locked his house on Monday at 9 am and went for duty.
He returned home on Tuesday morning to see the valuables missing. According to Seeman, the miscreants decamped with eight tolas of gold ornaments, 30 tolas of silver ornaments and Rs.15,000.
Tekmal Inspector Renuka Reddy, SI Shankarampet Shankar, and the clues team visited the house and collected evidence. A case was registered. A probe is on.
