Medak: Two persons drowned near Ghanpur anicut at Sri Vana Durga Bhavani Temple Edupayala in Medak district on Tuesday.
They were identified as Pittala Jai Hindu (36) and his nephew Pittala Ramu (16) of Dandupally in Manhoarabad Mandal.
Jai Hind and Ramu have arrived at the temple on Tuesday morning to offer prayers to the presiding deity.
The duo ventured into Ghanpur anicut for swimming and drowned. A case has been registered by Papannapet Police.
