Sanctioning of medical college: TRS cadre in the district performed ‘ksheerabhishekam’ to the portrait of Chandrashekhar Rao as a token of gratitude.
Mancherial: Government Whip Balka Suman and Mancherial MLA Diwakar Rao thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for sanctioning a medical college to the district. The rank and file of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) celebrated the announcement of the facility and for realising the long cherished dream of the public, by bursting crackers across the district.
Suman and Diwakar Rao expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for granting a medical institution to the district, deprived of the facility. They said that the college would help local students pursue medicine and citizens to access medical services at affordable prices. They added that the Chief Minister always had special concern for the district.
Meanwhile, party cadre and activists gathered at important junctions of the district headquarters, Chennur, Bellampalli, Mandamarri, Luxettipet, Naspur and many other mandal centres to celebrate the announcement. They burst crackers, distributed sweets among themselves and performed ‘ksheerabhishekam’ to the portrait of Chandrashekhar Rao as a token of gratitude.
Municipal chairperson P Rajaiah, vice-chairperson G Mukesh Goud, Mancherial Agriculture Market Committee chairman Palle Bhumesh, Nadipelli Charitable Trust chairman Vijith Rao, TRS town president Gade Satyam took part in the celebrations held in Mancherial. Chennur municipal chairperson Archana Ramlal Gilda, local councilors and leaders of TRS took part in celebrations organised in Chennur.
