Jayashankar Bhupalpally: Tribal Welfare Minister Satyavathi Rathod warned the BJP leaders including its State chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar to think twice before uttering nasty remarks against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and other senior leaders.
She also ridiculed the saffron party leaders from other States who are visiting Telangana and making ludicrous statements against the TRS government.
Speaking at the Rythu Sambaralu programme at Bhupalpally town on Sunday, she said that Rs 50,000 crore had been deposited in the bank accounts of the farmers directly with the 8th phase of release of the Rythu Bandhu assistance.
“If farmers are annoyed, the BJP leaders will face the same situation that was faced by Prime Minister in Punjab during his recent visit. If you continue with the glib talk, you (BJP) will be put behind bars,” she warned, and asked them to desist from making baseless allegations using filthy language.
Medical college, teaching hospital soon
Referring to development of Bhupalpally, she said that a government medical college and teaching hospital would come up in the district soon.
Meanwhile, nearly 500 women participated in Rangoli competition held as a part of Rythu Samabaralu. The participants were presented sarees, and mementos at the programme. Warangal MP Pasunuri Dayakar, MLA Gandra Venkataramana Reddy, Warangal ZP chairperson Gandra Jyothi and other TRS leaders attended the programme.
