One cook-cum-helper can be engaged in a school having up to 25 students
Hyderabad: The State government on Tuesday accorded permission for engaging 54,201 cook-cum-helper services, under the Mid-Day Meal scheme in government schools, on outsourcing basis to work in various districts in the State. An order to this effect has been issued by the Finance department.
The permission to engage cook-cum-helper was granted for a period of 10 months during the financial year 2021-22 . According to the order, a payment of honorarium Rs.1,000 per month would be paid for each cook-cum-helper. One cook-cum-helper can be engaged in a school having up to 25 students, two cook-cum-helpers for schools having 26 to 100 students and one additional cook-cum-helper for every additional 100 students.
The government instructed the School Education department to take necessary action in the matter.
