Yadadri-Bhongir: Labor Minister Malla Reddy on Thursday handed over Rs 1.75 crores as contribution for three kg of gold on behalf of Medchal Assembly constituency for the gold plating of Vimana Gopuram of the main temple of Sri Yadadri Lakshminarsimha Swamy.

Malla Reddy, accompanied by 300 members including chairmpersons and corporators of nine municipalities in his Assembly constituency, came to Yadadri and handed over the amount to the Executive Officer of the temple N Geetha at Balalayam on the hill shrine.

Geetha welcomed them on their arrival at the temple amid traditional rituals. Of the Rs 1.75 crores, Rs one crore was in cash and Rs 75 lakh in cheques from the nine municipalities.
