Suryapet: A minor boy committed suicide on Wednesday by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in his house at Kudakuda in Suryapet district.
The deceased was identified as Sampangi Umesh (13), a ninth class student of a private school in Suryapet.
According to police, Umesh resorted to the extreme step in his house after 12 noon when he was alone in the house. He was resorted to the act after being chided by his father for his behavior. His body was shifted to Government General Hospital at Suryapet for post-mortem.
