Minor girl allegedly assaulted at NIMS Hospital compound in Hyderabad
A minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at the NIMS hospital compound in Punjagutta. The accused, identified as Shambu (45), reportedly fled after the incident. Police have registered a case under the BNS and POCSO Act and launched an investigation.
Hyderabad: A minor girl was allegedly sexually assaulted at NIMS hospital compound in Punjagutta two days ago, the police said on Saturday. The victim, whose parents are construction workers, was staying at an under-construction site at NIMS Hospital when, on June 11, one person, Shambu (45), entered the room and sexually assaulted the minor girl.
On hearing the cries of the victim girl, the neighbours tried to catch Shambu, who managed to escape from the spot.
On a complaint made by the parents of the girl, the police registered a case under Sections of BNS Act and POCSO Act. Investigation is going on.
