Sangareddy: A 40-year-old woman, who went missing on March 14, was found murdered in the Jowar field on the outskirts of Manthur village in Pulkal Mandal on Tuesday morning. The victim, Manemma, reportedly left for her relatives home last Sunday, but she did not reach her relatives home and also failed to return home.
The family members filed a case in Pulkal Police Station on Monday. Since she was wearing about 5 Tulas of the gold, the Police suspected that the killers might have strangled her to death for gold. Sub-inspector of Police Pulkal Nagalakshmi has registered a case and the investigation is on. The body has been shifted to Government Hospital Sangareddy for postmortem.
