Hyderabad: Ever since its inception in 2013, the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) is on a mission. With an aim to look out for fresh talents, the country’s top para-cyclists reached Hyderabad on their way from Kashmir to Kanyakumari as part of ‘Infinity Ride 2020’, an adventure ride that aims to raise awareness and scout para talents from across the country.

This adventurous journey is a 35-city and 45-day affair. A brainchild of Aditya Mehta, who is India’s first para-cyclist and Limca Book of Records holder, this venture is supported by Border Security Force (BSF), which has believed in the cause since its inception.

The ‘Infinity Ride’, which is in its sixth year, will be led by BSF Jawans Asian Para-Cycling Championship bronze medallist Harinder Singh and Asian Games Track Cycling bronze medallist Gurlal Singh. They will not only be taking part but also leading the team through a 3,842-km route comprising treacherous mountain terrains.

The para-cyclists have covered a distance of 2,500 Km from Kashmir to Hyderabad so far. On Friday, the cyclists rode from Kamareddy to Hyderabad and were joined by celebs Lakshmi Manchu and Shilpa Reddy.

“At a time when the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has affected the mental and physical fitness of most of us, I hope ‘Infinity Ride 2020’ will bear the message of not giving up and the importance of Fit India Movement across the country especially among the para aspirants,” Aditya Mehta said.
