Mancherial: MLA Nadipelli Diwakar Rao said the government was concerned about families that were economically backward. He gave away cheques to 211 beneficiaries of Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) at a programme held on Sunday. The monetary aid worth Rs 90.09 lakh was granted to the beneficiaries.
Diwakar Rao said that the government was implementing a slew of schemes for the poor. He cited Kalyana Laxmi, KCR Kits and Raithu Bandhu. He suggested the financially weak families to utilize the CMRF to meet medical expenses required for treating diseases of their family members. He advised the applicants to furnish genuine medical bills and relevant documents.
