MLR Institute of Technology organises AICTE-ATAL Online FDP on “AI in Education: Tools and Trends in Teaching”
MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, hosted an AICTE-ATAL FDP on 'AI in Education' from Sept 15–20. Over 340 faculty from 23 states joined. Experts from NITs and industry shared AI tools and trends for future-ready teaching

Hyderabad: MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, organised an AICTE-ATAL sponsored Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘AI in Education: Tools and Trends in Teaching’ from September 15 to 20.
The programme had participation of 343 faculty members representing 23 states across India, a substantial number of participants being from Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh.
The FDP had resource persons from premier NITs, eminent industry leaders, and internationally acclaimed experts, who shared insights on the transformative role of AI in education.
Marri Rajasekhar Reddy, Founder Secretary of MLRIT and MLA, Malkajgiri, said, “AI in education is the key for teachers and students to empower next-gen learning. Faculty, as the pillars of education, must upgrade their skills in line with industry needs and adopt the latest AI tools.”
