Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had also expressed his readiness to sanction more funds. While the construction of the cable bridge which is part of the project has been completed, tenders have been already invited for development of the 2.6 km stretch of the total 10 km project. The construction of a retaining wall as well as construction work between upper prominad and lower prominad, were also discussed in detail during the meeting.

Walking and jogging tracks will be developed along the entire project stretch.
