Hyderabad: The much-awaited action film ‘Marco‘ is all set to release in Telugu on January 1.

Labelled as the ‘most violent’ Indian film, beating ‘Kill’ and ‘Animal’, it has already created a buzz among fans and industry insiders.

Sensational director Ram Gopal Varma shared his excitement, saying he’s “dying to watch it” and joked, “I hope it doesn’t kill me,” while tagging actor Unni Mukundan on his X handle.

 The film has broken several records in Kerala, surpassing ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule‘, within its first week of release. With more than 140 plus theaters being added for its second week, ‘Marco’ has already crossed the 50 crore mark at the box office.

‘Marco’ is a spin-off of the Malayalam film ‘Mikhael’. It stars Unni Mukundan and Yukti Thareja in lead roles, with Jagadeesh and Siddique in supporting roles. Kabir Duhan Singh played the antagonist in this intense action drama.

Directed by Haneef Adeni and produced by Shareef Muhammed, ‘Marco’ has created a lot of hype among Telugu audience, who are eagerly waiting to experience this action-packed spectacle on the big screen.
