‘Mothevari Love Story’ trailer promises a mix of love, laughter and land feuds

ZEE5’s Mothevari Love Story trailer sets up a rustic romance between Anil Geela and Varshini, where love faces hurdles of land disputes, humour and village traditions. Streaming from August 8.

Hyderabad: ZEE5 has released the trailer of its upcoming Telugu original series Mothevari Love Story, which will premiere on August 8. The show brings together humour, rural emotions and a heartwarming love story set against the backdrop of Telangana’s villages.

Written and directed by Shiva Krishna Burra, the series stars Anil Geela and Varshini in lead roles. The story revolves around Parshi, a youngster from Arepalli village, who falls for a girl from a nearby village. Their romance runs into trouble when a dispute over a piece of land leads to a clash between two elderly men, setting off a chain of funny and emotional events.

The trailer, released on Monday, offers a glimpse of the rustic setting, village traditions and colourful characters. It also hints at a mix of drama, light-hearted comedy and the challenges faced by young love in the countryside.

Produced by Madhura Sreedhar and Sriram Srikanth of My Village Show fame, the series also features Muralidhar, Sadanna and Sujatha in key roles. The technical crew includes Sreekanth Arupula handling cinematography, Charan Arjun composing the music and Anil Geela doubling up as the editor.
