Muddasir and Fahmeena win gold at Chief Minister’s Cup shooting championship

Hyderabad: Syed Muddasir Hussain won a gold medal in the 10 m open sight event and Syeda Fahmeena Nazneen also won a gold in the same category in the women’s section of the Chief Minister’s Cup shooting championship at Central University here.
The two shooters – Muddasir, a final-year student of St Joseph’s Degree College, and Fahmeena, a Physiotherapy student at Deccan Medical College – are being trained by Syed Abrar Hussain at the Madina High School shooting range in Nampally here.
Muddasir had won a bronze in the last edition, while for Fahmeena it was her third straight gold in the CM Cup.
“The two have immense potential and exposure at the right time should take them a long way,” said the proud coach.
