Mulugu: District Collector S Krishna Aditya launched the official website of Medaram Jatara www.medaramjathara.com and an official App at the Collectorate for the convenience of devotees planning to visit the Sammakka Saralamma jatara scheduled to be held from February 16 to 19.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the website and App have all the details including accommodation, route map, bathing ghats, drinking water, locations of black spots where accidents are likely to happen, parking slots, TSRTC bus services, vaccination, and others.
“The App was designed to provide information related to medical camps, toilet points and tourist spots in the district,” he said and suggested the devotees. “The App would facilitate information in several languages. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store,” he added.
Medaram Jatara in-charge police officer Additional DCP, Khammam, Gaush Alam, ASP Sudhir Ramnath Kekan, Collectorate AO Vijaya Bhaskar, DPRO B Premalata, Collectorate Superintendent Vishwa Prasad, and others were present on the occasion.
