Hyderabad: Coming down heavily on the Congress government for its indifference towards public grievances and health issues, BRS Working President, K T Rama Rao on Saturday voiced concern over the tragic loss of lives because of the failures of the administration.

In a sharp reaction to the Mulugu episode during a Congress ministers’ rally, he took to the social media platform X to express his dismay over the plight of people in Congress rule.

Deploring the way a family grieving over the death of a child due to neglect in a government hospital, was ignored during the rally of ministers, he called it a blatant display of insensitivity. The family seeking solace and justice were reportedly pushed aside during a political road show, sparking outrage. Close on the heels of the Mulugu incident, a similar incident was reported at Amarachinta also.

He further pointed out the issues plaguing Telangana, stating that over 500 farmers had ended their lives while weavers and auto drivers were facing economic hardships. Over 50 students died in the residential schools during the Congress rule, all due to systemic neglect, he said.
