Mulugu: The district police are gearing up to conduct a three-month free pre-recruitment coaching for those who are preparing for the jobs in the department of home which include Sub-Inspectors, and police constables at the district training centre (DTC), Jakaram, near here.

Speaking to ‘Telangana Today’, ASP Sudhir Ramnath Kekan said that the coaching would be provided under the supervision of Superintendent of Police Sangram Singh G Patil for the benefit of the job aspirants who cannot afford to go to private coaching centres.

“As a part of this 90-day coaching programme, we are planning to provide food and accommodation for the selected candidates. While the classes on subjects of written test will be conducted from 9 am to 5 pm every day, the physical training session will be offered by the expert coaches in the morning and evening,” he said, adding that the tests to assess the progress of the candidates would also be conducted on each subject every day.

“Weekly tests and physical fitness measurement tests are conducted every Sunday,” Kekan said.

“Interested young men and women can fill their bio-data at the nearest police station and submit by April 10 or else they can also visit the ASP office. Bio-data forms are available at the concerned police station. Physical measurement test will be conducted on April 12 at DTC Jakaram from 7 am to screen the candidates . A test for subject knowledge to get the training will also be conducted at the same venue on April 20,” he added.

“While the results of the screening test will be published on April 25 at the concerned police station, the classes will commence for the selected candidates from May 2,” the ASP said and urged the job aspirants to utilise this golden opportunity to crack the job.

“We are ready to provide training to as many candidates as possible under this programme named ‘Ekalavya’,” the ASP added.
