Hyderabad: Mystery continues in the case of G.Srinivas, a tempo lorry driver who went missing in Goa and reappeared with suspicious sutures on his body. The Goa police team that came to the city as part of investigation on Friday too are learned to have returned with many unanswered questions.
The police team from the Anjuna police station, where a missing case was booked, with the help of the SR Nagar and Punjagutta police carried out enquiries at the NIMS Hospital, before going to Srinivas’s house at Banjara Nagar in Borabanda and questioned him and his family members.
They are learned to have recorded details of the travel agency at Ghatkesar, where he works and the itinerary and other particulars of his travel to Goa and the subsequent incident and how a person with several sutures returned to the city alone.
The SR Nagar police said the Goa police team had left after the investigation here, and that they were not updated on the outcome.
Meanwhile, the Goa police said the case is in a preliminary stage and no clues have been obtained and nothing concrete has come out yet.
“Following the directions of superior officials, necessary action will be taken,” a Goa police official said.
