Mystery deaths: Four peacocks found dead in Peddapalli

In Peddapalli district, four peacocks were found dead under mysterious circumstances near the Pandavulagutta hillocks in Kalva Srirampur mandal. A shepherd discovered the carcasses near farmland and alerted local residents.

Peddapalli: Four peacocks were found dead under suspicious circumstances near Pandavulagutta in Kalvasrirampur mandal on Sunday.

A shepherd who spotted the carcasses near agricultural fields informed the local villagers. It remains unclear whether the national birds died after consuming fertiliser pellets used in farming or due to some other cause.

Around 50 peacocks are known to inhabit the Pandavulagutta hillocks, and they often visit nearby farmlands in search of food.
