In Peddapalli district, four peacocks were found dead under mysterious circumstances near the Pandavulagutta hillocks in Kalva Srirampur mandal. A shepherd discovered the carcasses near farmland and alerted local residents.
Hanumappa, a farmer, found his calf totally eaten by some unidentified animal at his farm shed and later the FRO identified pug marks of leopard at the site
It appeared that the seven to eight year old leopard died some three to four days ago and forest officials found a couple of porcupine quill stabs on its body
